Fragmented Memory

This painting aims to portray the power of our thoughts. The memories are seen as hallucinations, never accurate to reality. These memories are usually full of an emotional charge which creates these transformed events. The work shows the dream states we enter when we reflect on life which also recognizes the present. Although presence is one of the most important things a human can practice, it is undeniably outside of our nature to not fantasize and enter these separate imagined worlds. The future and past are not real in the end, so where do we go in those moments of deep thought?
